David Scott
Musical Editor
Dave grew up around music as his grandmother and mother both played piano so there was always one in the house. Started playing music at the age of 10 years old, wanting to take up the saxophone but went with drums because a pad and drumsticks were cheaper than a Saxophone for his parents! Little did they know the amount of noise that would be coming out of his bedroom for years to come! David became a member of the grade and middle school stage band until graduation. Studied classical music, piano, voice and theory in college. After college, he went on to graduate with a graphic arts degree and worked in the advertising world for 5 years then decided that music was in his blood and joined a traveling band that played all over the world. Did a short 3 year stint as a freelance production/technical systems supervisor for Royal Caribbean cruise David currently works out of his own studio composing and producing music for various media productions (CIRQUE, RCCL, NCL Reel Media, MSE, etc.), TV and Film as well as playing drums, keys and vocals in a traveling corporate band!
